The Katelynn Donnell Scholarship

Ms. Donnell was a beloved teacher at Brownsville Preparatory Institute, who tragically lost her life in the Spring of 2021. She made an indelible impression on the school during her 5-year tenure. Her impact has never allowed her to be forgotten by the parents and the children she served during the years of her teaching at the school. She implemented ideas that continue to pave the way for the school’s current culture. Katie worked in various capacities: intern, teacher, and teacher trainer in her short years before taking her talents to Colorado. There she also made an impact. She was a teacher’s teacher. Your generosity will ensure that her name will continue to live throughout the Brownsville Prep community for years to come by funding our Katelynn Donnell scholarship, which is awarded each spring to a Brownsville Alumni who is beginning their collegiate journey.
